Sedoaspis is a product based on postbiotics activity that stimulate Gut-Brain Axis. A key ingredient with a strong gut action is the postbiotic butyric acid in triglyceride form (the most bioavailable form) which improves gut motility, relieving symptoms such as constipation/diarrhea, abdominal pain and bloating. Butyric acid is produced during the fermentation of food in the gut by probiotics.

In addition, Sedoaspis includes ingredients with antioxidant and anxiolytic effects. The main antioxidant ingredient is the stigma of the saffron (Crocus Sativus L) which is a plant with a long history and use. Saffron’s stigmas (the bioactive part of the plant) have a high bioactive character, with the most important being the antioxidant. According to studies, saffron helps to reduce stress and improve sleep quality, and in synergy with vitamin B6, they maintain levels of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, contributing to an improved mood.

Last but not least, Sedoaspis includes ingredients with anti-inflammatory action, as well as vitamin D3 which covers the daily needs of patients.
