The Gut–Brain Axis is a bidirectional communication network between the gastrointestinal tract, the nervous system, and the gut microbiota. This communication occurs through neural pathways (primarily via the vagus nerve), immune signaling, and the production of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, most of which is produced in the gut.

When this axis becomes dysregulated, patients may experience gastrointestinal disturbances alongside emotional fluctuations, anxiety, sleep difficulties, and pain. Dysfunction of the gut–brain axis has been implicated in a variety of conditions, including:

Sedoaspis forte is a product based on postbiotics activity that restores and supports the Gut–Brain Axis.

Sedoaspis Forte was specifically developed to target this axis by combining five active ingredients with complementary mechanisms of action in a gastro-resistant capsule, ensuring their successful delivery to the intestinal environment.

A key ingredient of Sedoaspis Forte—essential for proper intestinal function—is microencapsulated butyric acid, a postbiotic that provides enhanced stability and facilitates the delivery and absorption of butyric acid in the deeper regions of the intestine. Butyric acid plays a crucial role in gut health by improving intestinal motility, reducing inflammation, nourishing enterocytes, and strengthening the intestinal barrier. Through these mechanisms, it helps relieve symptoms such as constipation and diarrhea, abdominal pain, and bloating.
